Bottom arrow with 24hrs to notify ASX is a bit misleading. The 18th is the record date and is calculated as T+2 trading days from last trading date of shares cum-option date of 16th. As I see it the night of the 16th the asx computers will work their magic and dish out 400M freebies for us to play with the next day on a deferred settlement basis. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
