    You buy your KRCOA via commsec for whatever price you can get them for today.

    You then sell your KRCOA via commsec for whatever price you can get for them in the future....

    There is no 100% guarantee of price just because KRC hits 10c... options will have gone up in price from today's price... it might be a hell of a lot, it might be a bit... depends on buyers and time left till expiration.

    Options can be great..
    I bought about 400,000 options for a company that had a 1c strike price... they are going to expire in Dec this year... Share price is around 12c... so either way I am ok.. convert for 1c, or sell on market for ~ 11c today.

    Could have gone against me also... the higher the strike price of the option and shorter the expiration date, the more risk.
