The King River Copper bonus options issue by KRC has been very cleverly put together. Issuing at above the current market price prevents an exodus, and providing a 2 year exercise period gives shareholders plenty of time to opt in. If the SP climbs to say $1 over 2 years minus there'll be a lot of happy SH faces and KRC will be injected with $48mil cash flow. If it plunges below 12 cents, which is unlikely, share holders will let their options lapse and forfeit the small amount of cash, that was given to them for nothing. Great win, win scenario. I'd be happy to wait say 18 months to buy $1 shares for 12 cents each. All the company needs to do is keep on improving.
