In accordance with the requirements of Listing Rule 17.1, Neon Energy Ltd hereby requests a trading
halt of the Company’s securities (NEN), pending an announcement regarding the results of production
testing at the Cua Lo exploration well, offshore Vietnam.
The Company anticipates that the announcement will be made on Monday 13 January, 2014.

So we can expect results of production testing at the Cua Lo exploration well either Friday or Monday.
