That’s true. But it also depends on what the end goal is for Fabian. With his track record, I believe it’s to make a significant discovery and then sell it to a major. If that is the goal then buying into the company will be the way he makes a packet- not through a small annual salary
if the goal is to make this in to a viable project from start to finish then again - aligning himself to the company via shares bought will be beneficial in the long run.
Anyway you look at it if the believe of the company and projects is strong then you buy shares in the company. OR you set some strong performance targets and you bloody well hit those!
In any case…. At a time of weakness it’s always nice to see directors buying on market even if it is a small amount. IMO
