Krokodil new dangerous drug now on the streets, page-27

What the hell is this in the breaking news for? Krokodil is not new, or a designer drug. Desomorphine has been arround for a very long time.and is not readily avaliable in the west. It got big in russia, and the pictures you see are not the result of desomorphine. They are the result of contaminants, poor injection procedures, no sterile equipment and poor health and hygine of users. Combine that with poor health care facilities such as in russia and the extreme poverty the people live in, leaving their absys' to fester. People are so ignorant. If these users had access to a pharmaceutical grade supply of desomorphine, sterile equipment and propper health care facilities this would not happen. If what they were doing wasn't illeagle, they wo u ldn't fear seeking treatment. The stupid war on drugs attitude is making people like this, not desomorphine.
