Take a look at the looming financial disaster in China...overnight rates briefly hit 30% on Friday. Massive amount of debt is going to constrain demand in the economy that consumes a vast majority of everything we dig out of the ground, which is basically the only remaining support to the Australian economy. Basically as China goes, so goes Australia. The Fed tightening might be a short term downside catalyst...but China is the more important driver. Hopefully APG won't miss the boat on the rest of this resources supercycle.
