a good thing to be doing.

Seems you have an issue here also, "future tense"?

The key word you fail to recognise is the use of ................".work HAS continued to be"...........and the date at that time was 23 april.
Using it again in the 13 of May Announcement gives it a meaning of "past tense".

If there was more testing to be done then they would have stated something like " there will be more testing , or further testing is required" etc.
The Announcements MUST BE very clear in the conveying of the message to the public. No grey areas!
