Was it just me or did anyone else notice that K Rudd when welcoming Jessica Watson back to Australia outside the Opera House did not turn and look at her once whilst singing her praises and pretending to speak directely to her?? At least the NSW Premier did and flashed a genuine smile in her direction! Rudd simply read a prepared speech which he pulled from his pocket! How hard is it to speak straight from your heart about a true champion kid who has just sailed around the world without prepared written notes in front of you???
