if the price held for a whole year....
Tonnes x price x currency conversion = revenue
8,000,000t x USD$270 ÷ 0.72 = AUD$3b revenue
or just AUD$2.3b pre-tax profit when taking into account the NSW royalty of 8.2% on higher prices
considering this is improbable for the whole year....
They are dragging in AUD$60m a week*. ¾ of it is profit (they'll make more in the next 2 weeks than they did for the whole of 20/21)
* 8,000,000/50 × (375/0.72) = $60,000,000
