    You might want to look at that game again. On the first 3 points Kyrgios had started walking to the other side of the court before the serve was hit. He made no attempt to play the ball back into court on any point. It's the equivelant of a golfer hitting the ball directly backwards off the tee, or putting the ball directly away from the hole. Kyrgios didn't tank the whole match, but in that part of it he was employing a deliberate strategy that maximised the likelihood of his opponent winning...and there has to be a sanction for that.
