I also fail to follow the logic. Front and centre of FFG website is information on their blockchain and cryptocurrency ventures. I would of thought that this would be enough to suggest that crypto sentiment and pricing would influence FFG SP.
However, if you don’t think sentiment plays a role in SP then maybe the numbers might help.
If FFG owns 51% of a company that presumably is continuing to increase the size and value of its asset base, then the asset base of FFG, (call it book value) increases. This has a material impact on SP.
If FFG held 51% of a company that was valued at $500M do you think the MC of FFG would be $35M?
I’m not suggesting Minerium is worth $500M but run the argument to demonstrate how wide of the mark you are.
Even the perceived value of Minerium will have an affect on FFG SP.
