So i recently bought into KSO.
What are people's thoughts on the current leadership of the company and if there will be changes at the director/management level?
With this company heading in a different direction to mining I wonder if the current leadership has the experience to move into the technology industry. Their website indicates the managing director was a CEO of a leading NZ investment bank which focused on the technology sector. I'm guessing it was at this point he got his first taste of the tech industry but it doesn't look like he has had any real experience of leading a tech company.
The chairman, again, looks to only have directorship experience in the resources sector but seems to be a lawyer and accountant by trade so i'd say he can keep the legal jargon and finances in check.
Lastly, the non-exec. He looks to be a geologist by trade but also has analytical, technical and corporate experience in the resources sector (not the Human type of resources as he is a geologist), which has "... given him an ability to advise companies at a corporate and Board level including fund raising, acquisitions, promotion and recognising value opportunities to add shareholder value...". So fair enough, he seems to be the one helping them through with the acquisition of Xref.
Are any of you guys concerned they may not have the experience or know how to drive this new technology product?
Could we see new director's/exec's come on board or maybe they will hire some guru, not as a director, but a consultant/adviser to lead the way?
(I obtained all the above info from their website http://www.kingsolomonmines.com/Corporate/Team.aspx)
