My (obvious) frustration is that I based my investment planning, and cash-flow, in line with KTDs stated time-frame and advertised strategy.
Based on the information provided by KTD I (along with others) was expecting the new factory to be kind of 'going' by July/August and, while I think the (unexpectedd?) Omniblend acquisition is probably a good move over the long-term the speed at which it happened, along with it's CR, came as a bit of a surprise.
IMO, since the IPO and so far, KTD (after 11 years of whatever it was that it was doing, that didn't provide enough capital to do either of these), has successfully got for itself a new factory and a new business (Omniblend) - all paid for by investors.
In return, those investors have a SP now 10% less than they paid for the CR (even though they got a 20% discount on a SP that for no apparent reason was conveniently at it's highest since the bump of last year), and back to where it was before the 'bump' happened and KTD which, for it's part, appears to have gone offline as if SH no longer matter.
The most recent 'announcement' from KTD said nothing - even the ASX agreed it wasn't price sensitive.
It appears my frustration, (and for the benefit of SMX, who needs to give me more counselling), impatience, is based on this lack of anything from KTD.
I've been round the ASX and HC long enough to witness, and experience, companies who are 'gunners' - ('gunner' do this and 'gunner' do that) who, in retrospect, cleverly work their SH into blind obedience and loyalty but actually deliver nothing. I watch the HC forums as the loyal SH keep on bolstering up those who are losing the faith - (it's 'gunner' be good one day).
For some of them even blind Freddie can see it's a dud - they've been conned - but the faithful still hold on.
I didn't come up with KTDs advertised strategy, it did - and IMO right now it's not delivering - especially if Jim's right and that new factory looks like the Marie Celeste right now and even if people arrived next Monday it will probably take to the end of the year to become useful.
Even Jim's, (quite reasonable) direct query to KTD about when the new factory would come online went ignored - they couldn't even be bothered to brush him off with a vague 'soon' response - or maybe they did answer his query.
So, KTD ... give us an update, at least the masses are getting restless.
And for the rest of us, stay frosty - IMO KTD needs to be watched closer - until it's done what it promised all SH it was going to do when it collected their dosh.
And, if this post turns out to be all BS - I'm the first who will be delighted.
