I would say very good but some way off. Since the announcement I have been thinking about ways that AUKUS can improve access to Defence contracts in all three countries for all Army, Air Force and Navy work. I am also thinking that their recent MOU with the UK government agency for nuclear decommissioning work will improve its profile in the UK for other government contracts. The barriers to entry into any contract will be lowered for all Contractors in any of the 3 countries when tendering for defence contracts. In terms of the Agreement its going to be more difficult for the US to be protectionist with contractors from the other two countries and for that reason alone I am positive. While Hanwha is important there are many other ways forward for K-Tig to participate.

I believe the Agreement is positive for K-Tig in all three countries but this is only my opinion.
