the price is for tin metal 99,5% (not realy sure about this number). as in every metalurgical process you need some energy, a plant, chemicals for the reduction of the SnO (ore) for example coal. so yes of course their are costs to produce tin metal from the concentrate, but the process is well known and not to difficult. maybe there are some "extra costs" in industrial countrys because of environmental thoughts (CO2 tickets). don`t know how this is managed in australia.
