from the discussions i had yesterday there is no way the jvp's will delay anything once SL2 get going,, they have at ADI said there is a forward drilling program, and that is what the JVP's are geared for in my view..

there wont be any further delays like SL1 once the drilling starts, sl1 is only a test well, it may end up marginally commercial just because the chalks are pretty good in our area. we will have to wait and see,, i dont expect any spectacular at SL1,, all i want to see is the chalks being capable of flow. somehow i think old couchy gave it away in his excited post in sept 06.. thats when i began accumulating more, and in hindsight i can see plaenty of times i could have done way better in the buy prices!! i never dreamed of 13 months later that we would not have tested the well..

the hosston sands is a fault play.. it has pushed up our chalks from what i can make of it with my limited geology understandings,, and from what i make of the EKA prospectus from April 2006, the chalks have had hydrocaron migration also, kunde 1 is a proven play only 6 miles away, and by the way the leases are being brought up,, the play looks east west... but with the hosston sands below i think our region has some unique aspects in the chalks that make it very exciting.. the Kunde 3 well obviously shows it by the gas kicks and 65 foot flares with the well basically killed they couldnt stop it.. their chalks are showing the makings of a heck of a well..
