Sounds to me that this could have been organised by Russia, Iran and Turkey. Turkey was ''allowed'' to attack the Kurds without going overboard. Then Russia says to the Kurds, look unless you give up Kurdish autonomy you will be obliterated. Russia tells Turkey to go home, there will be no Kurdish state. Syria absorbs Kurdish land and declares peace. Everyone's happy except the Kurds, of course. But hey, Shite happens. At least there's no yanks.
