@DaisyAOur first deal will be very rewarding as I mentioned in my other post. The market also likes that sort of milestone. When kdr sold half of its project to sqm even at a bargain, the sp responded accordingly, and of course the Wes deal delivered the majority’s desired outcome. If we won’t sell KV outright, it can replicate kdr’s staged sale, sell 50% for 500m and continue with the development and sell the rest later.
Whilst we don’t have the hype the sector had when pls and gxy were hitting almost 2 billion mcap just finding dirt, what we have today are
-higher growth trajectory in ev and storage
-pll/Tesla effect in the sector demonstrating the attractiveness of a safe jurisdiction
-uniquely for Ltr, we have Moora and Buldania,
-lessons from the first batch of producers to be avoided
-improved extraction with WOF
Interesting 6 months ahead. The next 6-12 months I think will deliver for us. The pfs in dec 2019 was just part of the story, we may have leveraged the work done on it but we couldn’t rely on that to claim a more decent value during negotiations because of the inputs used - only 50mt or 1/3 of the eventual resource size, exclusion of tantalum and UG/Op combo, and WOF- which will make a very significant difference in this PFS update.
Covid, Tesla, and even Nikola have accelerated the pace of the sector.
many are saying that gm’s falling for Nikola demonstrate just how desperate carmakers are in trying to catch Tesla’s lead. And now instos are falling for pll. Everyone wants to make money. Ltr has a very attractive, solid offering at its present stage KV’s development, Moora’s exploration and investor entry price considering the risks are much lower than when Ltr was 2 cents.
