It leaves me shaking my head as to how our politicians can sit back and allow one of Australia's most critical pieces of infra structure to shut down ??. Surely the current covid situation has highlighted our vulnerability to being dependant on imported energy. Kwinana I believe is the biggest of the 2 or 3 remaining refineries left in AUS and will make WA totally dependent on imports as the remaining refineries can't service the states where they are located. I thought the current crisis had been a wake up call when we ran out of dunny paper. If they continue to allow our supply chain to continue in this direction they may as well sack all of the ADF,s because they will run out of fuel within a week. Here we are the lucky country that is fast getting to the point where we won't be able to look after ourselves
