re: gold - worth reading up on this one, undervalu Just a question about value of a company from when a company starts producing gold.
I read in last couple of posts mentioned 15 dollars an ounce if the company has 3 million ounces of gold by end of year, and also mentioned 115 per ounce for the top 20 companies. If gold is trading at 600 an ounce and it only costs less than 300 per ounce to produce the gold where does the other 200 dollars per ounce go?
i know that the company would invest a large portion back into the company so when talking of 15 and 115 per ounce is that how much people are using as estimates to get rough ideas of what the company might be worth in the future?
Also does anyone know what the rough estimate or where to find out how much the estimate of the savoyardy project was when one was done in 1974 by the soviets?
thanks.
