    If he relinquished his "relevant interest" in 4 million shares, where "relevant interest" is essentially a legal extrapolation of ownership, then he is no longer in control of (or the "owner" of) those shares. Regardless of the complex dealings that Hopper has going on, he basically sold 4 million shares AFAIC.
