The Society for Neuro-Oncology and the International Consortium on Meningiomas, in partnership with the National Cancer Institute and the Neurosurgical Atlas, are pleased to announce a special one-day conference, 2021 Meningioma Day, Current management strategies and future directions, on May 15, 2021, from 8:20 am - 4:30pm EST.
Overview
This education day will focus on meningiomas: a look at current management strategies and a preview of what the future might hold. The talks will center around surgery & adjuvant therapy of challenging meningiomas, clinical updates in meningioma management and trial design, as well as basic and translational advances in the study of meningioma biology. Each section will conclude with an interactive discussion. Meningioma Day will be open to all. We hope to attract attendees from diverse fields with unique experiences and expertise including clinicians, investigators, scientists, allied health, community practitioners, students, and trainees.
Learning Objectives
- Review current standards of care and surgical decision making for meningiomas
- Overview of advances in meningioma biology and research
- Provide in-depth review of existing and future clinical trials in meningiomas
