In the article it says
“A clinical trial in the United States had been able to increase survival rates by six months, and an international clinical trial – coming to Australia and New Zealand next year – would pair this drug with a different one in the hope of increasing it further still.“
The second trial looks to me like the ONC-201 / paxalisib combo trial. Is there any other combo trial in DIPG anybody is aware of?
If not, I I believe he is revealing an important result of https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03696355?term=Gdc-0084&draw=2&rank=2, the Phase I in DIPG.
Unless there is a mono-trial of ONC-201 in pediatric DIPG which I did not find.
Lastly, another question, have the (interim) results of the paxalisib Phase I DIPG been shared before?
This nugget of info was new to me but I may well be overlooking previously published info.
