Seems to be a lot of rhetoric around gearing and
capital gains but not much detailed thought and
no plan from the left other than jealousy.

For what its worth I have never intentionally
negatively geared, I think it’s a stupid idea
from a financial perspective.

No you limit claiming expenses to the income generated.
It's not rocket science.

Negative gearing is a subsidy to invest in investment property & should be abolished.
