    With no negative gearing then rents will rise even faster than now. Stop the 50% capital gains tax deduction and rents will go through the roof more.
    Investors in property need to see a profit at the end of the day. Cut negative gearing and charge more capital gains tax then the only way to make a profit is to put up rents another 50% to 100%.
    That will fix the problem, plus with less investors building houses and units then the rental market would skyrocket, look forward to rents going up 200%.
    Halfwit Albo would be better to keep flying around the world rather than let him plan any economic policy.
