My reading of this is it just helps read the current situation faster or better or in more detail. We need our experts to tell us what this really means, but an ebola test in 20 minutes is a lot easier/more basic than a troponin test in 3 mins. And a lot less useful, esp given Ebola has almost been excluded from west Africa.
