Call a DD sure . What do you think will happen then . Everyone will vote for what's in it for them which means there's no hope of anyone who tries to do something sustainable for this country ever getting in.
The age of entitlement is over just as the masses are baying for more entitlement . The Governments in Western economies who don't have the capacity to print to kingdom come like the US so they can maintain their predominance abroad, are on an ever decreasing circle of perdition.
Even an economic ignoramus knows that . Too many dependents ,not enough lifters ,but the only genius ideas that the howlers and screamers can come up with is to penalise the lifters.

I wouldn't want to be a politician with any conviction these days , you have to lie to have any hope of getting elected . Sadly that's where we're at . Even more sadly still there are plenty of politicians more than happy to throw the crowd what they want for their 5 or 6 years of fame and the perks for the rest of their life.
