the point is about GDP. see the chart and recognise that increased immigration, a position taken by the LNP in 2014 under Abbott as a consequences of his fiscal "reforms" which forced universities to increase o/s student enrolments..... immigration was doubled in 2022-23 due to the reopening of universities and the return of enrolled students after the hiatus of covid.
per capita of 0.1% GDP growth would necessarily present a recession numbers. just as it did when the LNP were in govt.
