This is, to say the least, a very disappointing omission. This government, the one headed by our 'nobody gets left behind' prime minister, was the best shot welfare recipients were ever going to have to get them above the poverty line. There will never be even a look in from an LNP government who have a track record of demonising welfare recipients. It's a sport for them. So unfortunately I feel this is the end of the road unless we can get a minority government with the cross benches holding significant power. In the meantime we have further years more of significant hardship for the vulnerable.
