The Medicare system has ruined GP's business model. Now we have Doctors over servicing and underdelivering.
A rushed 5 min appointment with an inevitable prescription for a PBS listed drug, often inappropriate for the ailment.
It is not free, as very high taxes are required to support it and the health outcomes do not justify the cost.
Do you really need a taxpayer funded to tell you you need to eat better and exercise?
A copayment, as a minimum, is required to make the system work.
