    In 2015-16, the LNP government committed to an additional 12,000 humanitarian places for Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

    This remains the largest Muslim intake to date, in fact more than 10 times the amount taken in under Albanese. As if May 31, some 1,120 Palestinians arrived in Australia.
