Typical labor policy targeting SMSF's, whilst exempting industry funds or people in receipt of a pension. Funny that. People need to get their head around this draconian policy. Many marginally self funded retirees who could not be classed as wealthy will spend up and go on the pension. Why bother. This smacks of the mining tax which brought in zero tax. This will no doubt effect the TLS share price and all dividend paying stocks in my opinion.
