As Funke Kupper, the former boss of Tabcorp and ex-ANZ senior executive said “If someone pays no income tax, zero, if you give that person a cash refund on franking essentially that person pays negative income tax — and there cannot be a system on the planet, including Australia, where it is OK for people to pay negative income tax year after year. It is not right." It's as simple as that.
All of these baby boomers with a few million of shares crying poor... Give me a break.
