    This is a lie.

    Woodside paid $2.8Bn in corporate tax in 2024, and about $700m in PRRT.

    The North West Shelf also pays a Federal royalty.

    Woodside is one of Australia's largest tax payers.

    Given the gas processing plant has already been depreciated etc as it's existed for decades, the revenue stream from the extension will generate tens of billions of dollars in taxable income over the next 4 decades. Rivers of gold for Government coffers.
