yep, you're right woggle. the govt needs the greens (sometimes) to get bills through when they are too contentious for the LNP to support.
horses for courses mate. they'll do deals with however they will dependent on the style of the bill. if its humanitarian they'll try to hold reins on the greens to keep things reasonable and do the same with economic bills using the LNP.
its appalling the way parties work. if we had a sensible parliamentary structure (sans parties) Chandler-Mather would have been censured by the parliament and given a few months gardening leave.
