I am starting to lean more to the theory that this poster is a BOT given the nonsensical posts and lack of understanding of what it is posting about. No doubt the algorithms have changed and poster is now posting in a slightly different format tagging posters to try and get more discussion in its threads. BTW - I don't blame the Coalition Government for selling T2 at $7-40, obviously the market thought it was ok and Governments should try and get most from any asset sales! Labor's privatisation of CBA is a classic example, sold in depressed times and undervalued CBA's mass proving a windfall for IPO participants...... It is not even a political argument because both sides can and will justify any decision they make whether it is part of their ideology or not! Anyway, just to further clarify what went on I would strongly suggest OP reads a record of parliament in regard the background to privatising Telstra at the official Parliament of Australia website. I have copied a section which clearly shows the position of the 2 parties and obviously the privatisation bill was submitted and passed by the Howard government, despite the ludicrous assertions by "Mr Make it up as you go"!!
