NBN Co is redundant technology about to be overtaken by Starlink or just about anything else. The way they implemented it was expensive, cumbersome and antiquated. The NBN costs far too much, and what Australians pay for telecommunications is above anyone else per head of population.

LNP will likely privatize NBN Co for as much as they can get for it, Telstra would probably be in poll position but so would SingTel and Vodafone.

Labor especially in minority would be expected to sharply increase the powers of the anti-trust regulator ACCC down in Australia with an enormous focus on consumer protection especially in monopolistic industries in Australia such as telecommunications.

Telstra received significant fines in the Federal Court under the last LNP Government and they would be expected to resume but provided Telstra pays the fines, it actually got away with a lot under the Morrison Government.

The LNP Government under Dutton might be more supportive of the Aussie consumer and aussie small business owner and would be expected to adopt a different treatment to the ALP reducing barriers to entry, supporting competition from the likes of TPG and Floptus.

Telecommunications will be a major battleground no matter who wins and especially if it is a minority Government. The Greens, ALP aligned TEAL Independents and the ALP itself would be likely to make it much harder for TLS to operate.

DEI selections of the Board members, executive and CEO might not save TLS from the wrath of the ALP either in majority or more likely minority IMHO.
