Thanks for the insight.I'm ex Telstra, 14 years from 85 to 99, but haven't kept abreast of recent political thoughts regarding Telstra. Would never have been privatised in the late 90's without the LNP. Was a great time of change and thinking for the company. In hindsight I probably think it was the right move, but I'm a great believer that we have a unique market in Australia that makes Telecommunications harder than other countries, give our geographical size compared to population. I agree with the term floptus, as they have been a much poorer competitor over the years and have never caught up to the levels of coverage that Telstra has been able to roll out.
