First imo broadcom has no relevance to telstra,it is a supplier not a carrier/utlity.
Just add US comparisons verizon,at&t and t mobile.Hmm t mobile is providing incentives for its customers to try spacex spacelink direct to cell/handset.imo strong competition coming to the mobile sector telstras last profitable division.
That leaves tls with failing tls purple and no profit nbn/infraco.Just add the stupidity of govt getting involved in business.Those 2 $600m nbn satellites are space junk as spacex takes over.
Telstra is shrinking itself into a utility that is in a very competitive sector,and why it was imperative tls employs a real entrepreneurial ceo.
A bit off subject but a comment i heard the other day,ceo's that take control of established co's like qan,bhp,tls etc need to have the salaries etc questioned if they don't grow the co unlike founder ceo's that develop successful co's.
ps News corp bought 61% of REA group and expanded it result diversification and profit,Trujillo bought sou fun and autohome and it grew massive until Thodey and Penn sold it to pay dividends.
