Labour government has released a document to leave the requirements of Carbon credit for mining and big manufacturing Industry(Wrongfully called as polluters) in Australia. This is like a carbon tax on the mining and manufacturing Industry in Australia. It is likely to add anywhere between A$ 7 to 10 as additional cost on mining industry and will also make Manufacturing industry uncompetitive in global scenario. The impact of this tax will be long term as once imposed, it will be difficult to repeal in future. With rising interest rates and additional tax these important sectors are likely to be uncompetitive.
