from his bio it seems he'll slot into the federal party fabric like nylon in a suit - perishable fabric which deteriorates rapidly in the sunlight.

but hell the good people of Cook backed Morrison in the last election. albeit with a sizeable swing against him. so logic would suggest they'll back Kennedy too.
