Conservatives appear to have trouble identifying who runs the ALP. Alternate posts seem to have the party run by either "union thugs" or "latte sippers" groups which I might have thought were mutually exclusive, with the "faceless men" periodically gaining a guernsey. I'm not sure if the term "Latte sipper" (The bastard son of "Chardonnay drinking??") denotes a literal choice of beverage or is more a figure of speech. Collectively, the sheer range and contradiction of the terms says more about the infantilism and abusive nature of the posters than it does about the character of ALP members. That having been said given that Labor spent a huge percentage of their campaign budget on the seat of Ashgrove and left precious little for other seats (The strategy being that if people thought Newman would lose Ashgrove, they might vote Labor) and lost the election by a record margin, Bramston really is delusional if he thinks that's the model for the future.
