Beattie is a typical politican who does not see past his small-town interests.

I dont see it as an either-or debate.

There is enough room for a clean coal techology when and if they develop it, and if it turns out to be economical, there will be a great demand for it.

But that is not a reason to slow down another technology that also has great promise.
