Mr Rudd, and his fellow politicians, will simply take this in his stride, and offer the excuse, that he is making tough decisions (for which he makes no excuses), for the benefit of working australians, and he simply takes no notice of the polls.

I can understand that the electorate, is not too keen on Mr Abbott, but he did save (for the time being) Australia, from the folly of the stupid ETS.

It is obvious, that governments cannot govern in relation to polls, because that would lead to a total mish mash of policies. Nevertheless, polls become more significant, the closer they are to election time.

The labor number crunchers, behind the scenes, will be desperatly working at strategies to rectify the problem. The revelations that Mr Tanners electorate, has received a massive injection of funds, should not be a surprise. Mr Howard was guilty of the same tricks.
