A poll the other day, showed that the liberals were in front in queensland, and now a nationwide poll, shows that the Liberals are in front, across Australia.
It seems that the attitude to asylum seekers, arriving by boat, is a serious issue. Mr Rudd tried to tap into that fear, by suspending the processing of applications from a couple of countries, and was obviously hoping that the boats would stop coming - but they still keep coming.
