but, the death of Oz is going to happen NOT because of the costs of what IS happening -
the death will come from what it is NOT doing
eg - you CANNOT head into a nuclear future or a tech future without STEMS - you just can't

Oz is dying - and one of he reasons that it is dying is because it's dumb and getting dumber -
not only has it killed off STEMS ed and research funding - it's also killed off any semblance of classical education - which includes things like philosophy, sociology, history and geography etc - which are the very things that show the way forward
