The RBA is hardly going to raise rates based on a point 1% tick up in inflation, especially when rents are the main driver. That would be a bit counter productive yes?
That same $300 will ease the pressure on inflation when it's impact flows through, along with the recent enquiry into supermarket pricing and subsequent price drops in that sector. Fuel prices have also dropped back a tad. There will be a cut in rates this year , lock it in Eddie.
