The industry funds give lesser returns plus charge management and admin fees that basically take more than 30% of earnings.
You will of course try and dispute this JonnoH but I doubt you have an SMSF. The industry funds allow you to transfer your
entire portfolio as it exists from a SMSF to the industry fund.
JUST a small catch, your own portfolio in an industry fund cannot get imputation credits plus fees still apply.
I will trust myself to choose my portfolio in my SMSF and still be better off than the lefty option.
