At that time they had every reason to be ecstatic. They were going to be a free, all-black, independent country, no longer the slaves and manual labourers of the whites. History turned, however, and -I suggest- the whites outside Zimbabwe joined forces with those whites disenfranchised within Zimbabwe and a war began. A war which create a monster out of a freedom fighter. Now, the whites, claiming to be bringing freedom to the Iraqis -freedom from another monster of their own creation- sit around the killing fields and do nothing but point a finger and shout out their vacuous horror.
Too late? I doubt it. If they can rush into Iraq for no reason at all, they can rush into Zimbabwe. This time they have a reason.
